"Noah's Revenge""Jack Frost" Hare 'n Hounds

Jon Hinam is the provisional winner of yesterdays Rhayader Club's "Jack Frost" Hare and Hounds. The event should really have been named "Noah's Revenge" due to the vast amounts of water around the whole track following 36 hours of continuous heavy rain, though (typically) it stayed dry during the event with even the occasional glimpse of the sun towards the closing stages.
Many found the going just too tough - the water in many parts was reaching as high as the fuel tanks resulting in a number of drowned bikes. Where there wasn't standing (running) water there was the obligatory sticky, slippery mud and ruts.
Jon Hinam however seemed to revel in the conditions and pulled away from the rest of the field at a rate of knots. The pic shows Jon tackling one of the wet sections, but this wasn't the worst section by any means.

Oliver Pope & Jon HinamJon to ride a Husaberg FE550
This year I have been asked to ride a Husaberg FE550 for KTM dealer Trevor Pope of Gosport on behalf of KTM UK.
I will be competing in the Track 'n Trail series with fellow team rider Oliver Pope on his Husaberg FE450.
It has been a great ride so far, very nippy and can handle a beating through woodlands and the rough welsh terrain, looking forward to a good season on it!
